A few weeks ago, Roger Valdez of Smart Growth Seattle stopped by to visit Dwell Development’s Columbia Station micro-community.
Smart Growth Seattle is an advocacy group “promoting fresh land use codes to manage neighborhood growth.” Roger came by to get a first hand look at our micro-community as an example of healthy urban density via in-fill development. He took a tour of our Passivhaus and wrote about it here.
He has also recently been covering the City Council’s Planning, Land Use, and Sustainability (PLUS) Committee meetings and reporting on their recommendations about finalizing small-lot legislation.
